The ISYA Educational Standards overview

The ISYA was founded from an identified need to establish consistent SUP Yoga standards. With the increased popularity of SUP Yoga in the past few years, there has been a rise in the number of SUP Yoga Instructors and Instructor trainings.

Until recently, these trainings were not standardized therefore some courses neglected to incorporate basic safety and educational standards.

The ISYA provides these crucial guidelines to help promote standardization in SUP Yoga certifications so there is consistency in course content delivery.

There have been inconsistencies in SUP Yoga Instructor training courses in terms of pre-requisites, entry requirements and assessment of competence.

The ISYA  provides the guidance and support needed to advocate for safe SUP Yoga practices by providing standardisation in SUP yoga education and trainings.
